Passion became Meister Couture
Ever since I was a child, I have been designing and sewing with great dedication and enthusiasm. I love beautiful fabrics, beautiful dresses and most importantly: I love people.
That’s why I decided to start my own bridal fashion business, Meister Couture, a good 20 years ago – back then at Münstergasse 45 in Bern’s old town.
In the meantime, we have grown into a family business
I make the consulting, the sales and most of the couture work myself. When the order books are packed, I am supported by my seasoned seamstresses.
My family supports me in the background. My daughter Samantha takes care of the creative work as a graphic designer, and my son assists me with administrative tasks.
Thanks to this support and the warm and positive feedback from my clients, I am not thinking of stopping for a long time yet.

Once they decide on their dream dress, the corks pop and the first tears of joy roll down; this is a very emotional moment that also touches me, with my more than 40 years of experience in the fashion industry, each and every time.

I accompany and support the bride with all my expertise during the consultation. I am not primarily concerned with selling a dress. Instead, I want the client to really take her time. This way, she can enjoy the essential and emotional decision-making phase.

From the initial consultation to the fitting to the collection of the dress, there are many beautiful, unforgettable moments that enrich my life every time.
In a spontaneous conversation from woman to woman, confide in me with all your concerns and ideas. Describe what you like about a dress. Then leave it to me to complete your selection.
Due to my many years of experience, I understand what you want and intuitively know what suits you. Thus, I often find a dress that perfectly suits your nature, personality, and physique with one or two movements.
Trying on wedding dresses has a relaxing effect. You laugh, chat, are admired and photographed in this unique, unforgettable happening!

Our showroom
Since the beginning of 2019, we have been welcoming customers and their companions at Ensingerstrasse 42 in Bern’s Kirchenfeld district. This is where you can discover unique, modern and carefully selected bridal and festive fashion collections in a stylish and tranquil atmosphere.
Meister Couture does not need a pompous ambience. You will not be distracted by other brides and shop assistants during your fitting appointment. All our attention is focused on you and your companions.
There is no emphasis on mass, and we only offer one-to-one consultations – free of charge, of course. This makes the buying experience a wonderful one, which you are also welcome to capture in photos.
In our new showroom, we also welcome customers in the evening or at off-peak hours.
