The production process

First conversation

During the first conversation, we get to know each other. We discuss your dream dress and how you will get married or what special occasion you are invited to.

This helps you to imagine whether the style of your dream dress suits you. I will give you similar dresses to try on. Through this visualisation, it becomes very clear to you how you will look in your custom-made dress.

Afterwards, I will show you different materials, weaves and fabrics. We will discuss your wishes, and I will answer all your questions. I will make sketches for you and the making of your dress and take your measurements.

First fitting

You will slip into a moulure (prototype) that has been made to your measurements from a cotton fabric or light material. This moulure is staked out, and further details are discussed. Now the exact fabric required can be calculated and ordered from one of our suppliers.

Second fitting

During the second fitting, the dress is made in the desired fabric. A separate inner part may be added (e.g. a corsage with stays or a wide petticoat).

Again, the neckline is pinned and defined at the back and front, the length is marked, any sleeves are tried on, and the accessories are discussed.

Third fitting

Your dress is now also lined and finished with lace as required. The final work – appliqué, beading, lacework, fabric-covered buttons – is to be discussed, and the collection date is agreed upon.

You are overjoyed because your dress and accessories are now ready for your big occasion.
